First gender audit in a Ministry of Labor of the Americas

The ILO and the OAS have partnered to support Barbados Ministry of Labour’s commitment to expand institutional capacities for mainstreaming gender into its operations, policies, and programs. From October 3 to 14, a team of five renowned experts will conduct a gender audit in the Ministry, the first one to take place in the Americas. This effort is funded by the ILO, the OAS and the Canadian Labor Program.
