Theme: Payment of salaries through the banking system

Three officers from the Ministry of Labour of Peru received technical assistance from the Ministry of Labour of Argentina about the payment of salaries of workers through the banking system. During the visit they received information from the Ministry, the Central Bank, the Bank of Patagonia and the main social actors. The visit concentrated in introducing the regulation on the payment of salaries in the Argentinean labor legislation, the mechanisms of supervision of such payment, the benefits obtained from the reform in favor of the workers, entrepreneurs and the State itself, among other subjects.  

At the end of the experience, the Peruvian authorities made public that the Ministry of Labour and Promotion of Employment of Peru is planning to implement the payment of salaries through the institutions of the banking system, meaning that the technical assistance received was absolutely appropriate and profitable.
